'R U OK?' Leicester train passengers to be asked about their welfare



Volunteers will be asking rail commuters at Leicester railway station "Are you OK?" on Thursday.
It is the third event held by the RUOK campaign, which is a partnership of health, police, rail, local authority and third sector organisations aimed at getting people to talk about mental wellbeing.
The volunteers will be talking to rail travellers from 7am to 7pm and handing out information.
Their aim is to get people thinking about the small acts – a kind word, question or gesture – that can help to lift the mood of a friend, family member, colleague or acquaintance.
