Quick-fingered thief switches cheap pocket watch for £4,200 gold piece at jewellers

A thief tried to trick a shop assistant by swapping a valuable gold pocket watch for a cheap imitation while he pretended to pick money up from the floor.
Konstautines Jevsjukovs entered Mauds jewellers in Boston and asked a staff member if he could look at a gold pocket watch and Albert chain worth £4,200.
As the assistant placed the gold watch on the counter Jevsjukovs placed his hand in his back pocket dropping change on the floor. As they picked it up he pulled a another watch from his pocket and quickly swapped it with the gold one.
