Putting the bins out? Here's what NOT to do if you want your rubbish actually collected



Local authorities are legally obliged to collect your household waste, with each individual council determining when and how often this will happen.
Yet there’s a surprising number of circumstances in which refuse collectors can, well, refuse to collect your rubbish.
We checked out the waste collection policies for councils across Merseyside and the rules are pretty unanimous.
Here’s what NOT to do if you want your bins to be collected:
