Puppy stolen by dognappers in Maghull burglary is returned to ecstatic owner
 

A Merseyside woman told of her relief at being reunited with her dog after it was stolen in a break-in.
Archie, a pedigree Bichon Frise puppy, was taken by dognappers who struck at Irene Degier’s home in Maghull in the early hours of August 17.
Raiders also stole cash from birthday cards, a television, a purse and a wallet when they ransacked her home.
Heartbroken Irene launched an intensive social media campaign to be reunited with Archie, and her pleas were shared thousands of times on Facebook and Twitter.
