Pupil take-over at Paxton House proved a great success
 

0 Have your say When Eyemouth High School pupils took over the running of Paxton House for a day, their cookery demonstrations in the old kitchen proved popular with visitors.
For eight weeks, the S2 and S3 pupils researched various aspects of the house, which is open to the public, how it runs on a day-to day-basis and how they would like to run it on the day it was given over to them to operate.
The project was part of a school enrichment programme, learning new things with different groups of people.
