Pugs strut through Liverpool for charity walkies
 

There were pugs on parade along the Liverpool waterfront this afternoon.
More than 50 dogs went walkies from the Liver Building to the Echo Arena to raise money for MuffinPug Rescue - a charity which rescues pugs in need.
Liverpool was one of 15 cities hosting the midday sponsored walk - all aiming to raise at least £1,000, the estimated cost of saving one pug.
As well as pug owners helping to raise money and awareness for the scheme with their pets around a dozen of the animals - all wearing polka dot bandannas - were available for adoption.
