Public invited to comment on new £30m education campus in Whitehaven
 

The team behind plans for Whitehaven’s new £30 million education campus say it’s vital they hear the public’s views.
Designs for the complex, which will bring St Benedict’s School and Mayfield School on to one site, will be put on public show for the first time today.
A public consultation event is being held at St Benedict’s School from 2pm until 8pm.
The project also includes new, community-accessible sports provision on the site.
Talks are taking place ahead of a planning application being submitted to Cumbria County Council later this year.
