Princethorpe pupils accepted into New York academy
 

A THIRST for knowledge has seen four Princethorpe College pupils accepted into an international academy.
Ben Scares, Lauren Mason, Caitlin Conmy and Caitlin McBride – aged 12 to 15 – each had to write mini essays responding to questions about global challenges in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths as part of their application to the New York Academy of Sciences’ Junior Academy.
Only 500 places on the scheme are up for grabs world-wide and all four were offered places.
