Prince Harry backs Ashington man Nick Dunn's fight for freedom
 

Prince Harry has backed jailed Ashington man Nick Dunn’s fight for freedom.
Nick was arrested on weapons charges in 2013 while he was working protecting ships from pirate attacks in India.
The charges filed against the former soldier and his colleagues were quashed but police lodged an appeal with the Supreme Court.
Earlier this year Nick was controversially found guilty of the charges and was sentenced to five years in prison, a decision Wansbeck MP Ian Lavery labelled “absolutely bizarre”.
