Pride and joy collection of precious birds stolen from disabled man
 

Almost 100 precious birds which were the pride and joy of a disabled man have been stolen by callous thieves.
They were taken from the home of Alan Blewitt, who lives in Brownhills, near Walsall.
He has been left heartbroken after the thieves escaped with 89 birds from a custom-made shed in his garden.
The birds include a mixture of Siberian goldfinches, canaries, redpolls and siskins.
Motor-neurone disease sufferer Alan said: “I am devastated.
