Power cut leaves 745 properties without electricity



A sudden power cut left more than 700 properties without electricity and trapped drivers in a city centre car park in Lincoln.
Residents at Brayford Wharf East were briefly left without power when the technical hiccup occurred at around 5.30pm on Tuesday evening.
Drivers parked in the Brayford Street NCP car park were unable to get out as the electrical barrier could not be moved.

Western Power Distribution have confirmed that 745 homes were affected but they have managed to reduce that number 203.
