Post-Brexit pound slump is GOOD for economy, says Wetherspoons owner



The decline of the pound is actually good news for the British economy, according to Wetherspoons founder and pro-Brexit campaigner Tim Martin.
Speaking to LBC, Mr Martin made the comments after the pound endured its worst four-day performance since the EU Referendum earlier this week.
But despite pound reaching its lowest lowest since October 2011, the founder of JD Wetherspoon says a weaker pound makes the UK an attractive prospect for tourists.
