Port Vale fans praise Sheffield United and police after coach breakdown means four-hour delay

Port Vale's supporters had a miserable afternoon as their team were beaten 4-0 at Sheffield United this afternoon, but for one group of Valiants the day was even worse.
One of the club's official coaches broke down outside the ground so fans had to wait for a replacement before finally leaving Bramall Lane just after 9pm.

Loyal Vale fan Doreen Robbins was among the supporters stuck in Sheffield. But she said the frustrating wait was made much easier thanks to the South Yorkshire Police and staff at Sheffield United.... read more
