Port Vale 0, Coventry 2: Bruno Ribeiro says sorry to fans as Valiants flop at home



Port Vale manager Bruno Ribeiro apologised to supporters after his team were outplayed on their way to a 2-0 defeat at home to Coventry this afternoon.
The Valiants were aiming for a seventh successive Vale Park win to equal their best ever home start to a season, but they were a distant second best to a Coventry side who were bottom of the league without a win at the start of the day.
Marvin Sordell fired the Sky Blues in front on 36 minutes before Chris McCann made the game safe on 72.
