Policeman and son of anti-gun campaigner to stand trial after car collided with motorbike
 

A policeman and the son of a Toxteth anti-guns campaigner will both stand trial after a police car collided with a motorbike.
PC James Ellerton’s vehicle knocked down a motorbike ridden by Devere Ogungboro – son of Paula Ogungboro – in Park Road, Toxteth.
The officer, 29, was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after Ogungboro, 27, was left needing surgery to his knee.
Liverpool Magistrates’ Court previously made an order banning publication of the home address of Ellerton, who denies the charge.
