Police trying to trace Derby victims after making two arrests over suspected thefts from cars
 

Detectives are trying to trace car crime victims after two people were arrested for allegedly stealing from unlocked vehicles in Derby.
Police were called to the Stepping Lane area by someone who reported seeing a man and a woman trying car doors at around 3.20am on Saturday, October 1.
Officers went to the scene and arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle and a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
Police said the girl was carrying items that they believe could have been stolen from a car.
