Police sergeant says he would 'do things differently now' into handling of mum's death
 

A police sergeant has admitted he would “do things differently now” in handling the sudden death of a mum-of-three.
Nicola Roberts, from Ingelby Barwick , was found dead with a head injury and covered in bruises at the home of her on-off partner and ex-Manchester United footballer Paul Wratten on March 12, 2015.
Teesside Coroner’s Court heard today that Sgt David Lester, of Cleveland Police , arrived at the scene and checked the 39-year-old’s body before concluding the death was not suspicious.
