Police send message to Liverpool and Man United fans
 

A banner referencing the Munich Air Disaster had to be removed from an M62 bridge before the game.
The banner, which police said read “Manchester United scum 58”, was hanging over the motorway before junction 5.
But there was no trouble in the stadium at the 0-0 draw.
Merseyside Police’s match commander, superintendent Paul White, said: “I would like to thank the fans of both clubs for their exemplary behaviour on Monday night, before, during and after the game.
