Police Scotland top cop Phil Gormley faces THIRD watchdog probe third into gross misconduct claims



The Police Investigations and Review Commissioner have launched a third probe into gross misconduct allegations against Chief Constable Phil Gormley.
The under-fire Police Scotland chief, who is on special leave, was notified at his Norfolk home yesterday that the allegations would be investigated.
The matter, understood to concern a complaint from a female police inspector, was referred to the PIRC by the Scottish Police Authority last week.
The news comes after we revealed yesterday that a fourth complaint has been made against Gormley by senior analyst Lesley Bain.
