Police renew appeal after attempted robberies at McDonald's restaurants



Police investigating an attempted robbery and burglary at two McDonald's branches in Grimsby have renewed their appeal for witnesses.
Officers were called to the Birchin Way outlet shortly before 4.30am on Thursday, September 8 when a man went through the restaurants's drive-through and tried to steal the till.
It is alleged the offender used a knife which resulted in the staff member sustaining an injury to the hand and needing hospital treatment.
The suspect wore dark clothing and a hooded top with the hood up. He made off on foot and the alarm was raised.
