Police probing schoolgirl abduction and rape plan high-visibility patrols



High-visibility patrols will be carried out by police investigating the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old schoolgirl exactly one week on from her ordeal.
No arrests have been made since the girl was made to get into a hatchback car as she walked in Banbury Road in Summertown, Oxford, last Wednesday morning.
Inside the car, which was possibly a Volkswagen, a second man was waiting. Following her abduction the teenager, who was wearing her school uniform, was raped.
