Police probe bogus work claims boss after tradesmen pay £2000 for 'guaranteed work' but get no new clients
 

A MAINTENANCE firm are facing a probe into claims they lured tradesmen into paying cash to secure work – then didn’t give them any clients.
UK Property Repair Ltd – headed by Jill Craig – have left a trail of misery since being set up in February.
The firm approach tradesmen offering “guaranteed contract work” maintaining 425 ­properties for 12 months. Clients have complained they haven’t had a single call-out since handing over a £2000 fee.
Now Craig, of Bishopton, Renfrewshire, and her firm – based at Eurocentral business park, near Motherwell – are at the centre of a police compaint.
