Police manhunt launched after attempted murder leaves victim with stab wounds
 

A manhunt is underway following an attempted murder in Consett .
Police are appealing for help to trace Graham Clarke in connection with their investigation.
It comes after a 25-year-old man suffered several stab wounds in the Forster Street area in the early hours of Monday.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle but has now been discharged and is recovering.
Police are appealing for Mr Clarke to hand himself in by contacting the Durham Constabulary control room on 101.
