Police have named two men suspected of conning their way into a elderly woman’s home before stealing handbags containing hundreds of pounds in savings.
Phillip Purcell and Johnny Connors (pictured above) are both wanted in connection with the theft at the pensioner’s home in Baldwin Street, Bilston, at around 5.30pm on August 25.
The 79-year-old victim allowed two men into her home after they claimed they had been sent to carry out building work. She later discovered two handbags containing several hundred pounds had been swiped from a sofa.
