Police hunt driver after hit and run leaves pedestrian seriously injured



A man has been seriously injured following a hit and run.
The pedestrian was walking along Pen-Y-Maes Road in Holywell at 11.30pm last night (Friday, October 6) when he was struck by a blue Ford vehicle.
The driver failed to stop and fled the scene of the collision which took place on the stretch outside Bagillt Hall Farm.
It comes just six days after teenager Liam Simpson was killed by a hit and run driver on Well Hill in the town on Saturday, September 30.
Police have made a personal appeal to the motorist involved in last night’s crash to come forward.
