Police caught recovering Shrewsbury drug addict buying £2 of heroin



0 Comments Mark Hutchings, a diabetic, was subsequently arrested and told officers it was for personal use.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled Class A drug at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday.
Mr Roger Bleazard, prosecuting, said Hutchings, 44, of Claverley Road, was seen making the purchase in the town’s St Marches Street on September 14.
Mr Mike Sherwood-Smith, defending, said: “It was a small quantity of drugs. He had been observed by the officers and detained.
