Police car smashed as officers track suspected Solihull fuel thieves

Three people were taken to hospital while a police car was wrecked in a crash as officers tracked suspected fuel thieves.
The drama began when police were called to a petrol station on Coventry Road in Solihull after reports of a suspected fuel theft and a crash in which a pregnant woman suffered minor injuries.
The 27-year-old woman, who is in a stable condition in hospital, was a passenger in a white Citroen DS which collided with a blue Toyota Yaris.
