Police called in over 'perceived criminality' at Derby City Council's adult learning service
 

Auditors have revealed police were called in over "perceived criminality" related to Derby City Council's adult learning service.
The issue was around what have been described as "potential financial irregularities".
A report from Central Midlands Audit Partnership says its experts had been asked to look at issues with the Adult Learning Centre. It says: "We were asked to investigate potential financial irregularities with the manual receipting process for adult learning courses.
