Police applea after man, 63, assaulted in attempted street robbery in Derby
 

Police officers are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in an attempted street robbery in Derby.
At around 8.20pm on Friday, October 7, a 63-year-old man was walking along Sinfin Lane when he was knocked to the floor from behind.
The offender then punched the victim in the face and demanded cash. When the 63-year-old man refused stating he had none, he was assaulted again, suffering cuts and bruises to his face.
