Police appeal for witnesses after Dundee man suffers critical injury in fall
 

COPS are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was left in a critical condition in hospital after a fall.
The 54-year-old suffered a serious head injury after taking a tumble yesterday.
Emergency services were contacted after he was found on Dundee 's Strathmartine Road, just north of it's junction with Laird Street and Harestane Road, at 11.35am.
Taken to Ninewells Hospital, his condition is described as critical but stable.
He is described as being approximately 5'9 in height, of slim build and has short dark hair.
