Plasterer assaulted former partner and threatened to burn her house down
 

A man has been jailed for assaulting his ex-partner and threatening to damage her car and burn her house down.
Michael Bradley was facing assault allegations, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard. In April, the 29-year-old visited her home on two occasions and assaulted her. He then sent her a series of texts in which he threatened to damage her car and burn her house down if she did not drop the charges, the court was told.
Bradley, who has previous convictions for domestic violence, has now been jailed for 16 months and made the subject of a restraining order.
