Plans to tarmac over Honeybourne gardens in Tamworth that tenants use as 'dumping ground'



TAMWORTH residents could have their gardens tarmacked over – following a sea of complaints lodged to the borough council.
Householders in Honeybourne, Tamworth, could lose their rear gardens after a number of tenants have used them as a 'dumping ground' – costing the council heavily.
In a letter addressed to residents, Lucy Richards, tenancy sustainment officer, said: "Tamworth Borough Council will be undertaking environmental improvement works in Honeybourne to gardens which are partnered with flats above the garages.
