Plane declares mid-air emergency after bursting tyre during take-off from Gatwick

An airliner with a burst tyre had to land back at Gatwick airport after declaring a mid-air emergency.
Air Canada Rouge flight AC1925 returned to the London airport following the incident early this afternoon.
The Tornto-Bound Boeing 767 circled the south coast to burn off and dump fuel before returning to the ground.
Pictures show a cloud of dust rising as the plane touched down, before fire engines drove out to meet it.
The jet was then towed back to the gate by support vehicles.
