Plain clothes cops break up fight during their own lunch hour



Two plain clothed police officers broke up a street fight in Lincoln city centre – on their lunch break.
They decided to act after they saw Nigel Perry, 33, exchanging punches with another man in Park Street during a fracas over a £20 debt.
Jim Clare, prosecuting at Lincoln Magistrates' Court, said: "Two police officers were in plain clothes on their lunch break when they saw two men throwing punches at each other.
