Pill could cause depression in thousands of Lincolnshire women
More than a thousand women in Lincolnshire could be at greater risk of depression thanks to being on the pill.
A recent study by the University of Copenhagen suggests there is a possible link between the contraceptive pill and depression.
Researchers studied the health records of more than a million Danish women aged 15-34 and found that those on the pill were more likely to be diagnosed with depression.
If there is a link, that could leave thousands of women in Lincolnshire at a much greater risk of developing the disorder.
