Fans’ united front Almost 1,400 City fans made the arduous trip to South East London where the Sky Blue Army joined forces with Charlton supporters in a show of unity against their respective owners. It was an impressively defiant demonstration that started on the streets with a protest march to The Valley and continued throughout the game which felt like a sideshow at times – the bigger picture clearly the plight of two proud clubs rather than the three points on offer.
