Picture shows Gold Man's horrific injuries after gunpoint robbery in east Hull



This picture shows the horrific injuries suffered by an elderly Hull jeweller known as the “Gold Man" after he was beaten and robbed at gunpoint.
The victim, who was 77 and had just returned from a car boot sale at York Racecourse, was bound, beaten and robbed after being bundled into his east Hull home by two masked men armed with a handgun on May 16, last year.
They escaped with more than £30,000 in cash and jewellery, despite being unable to get into the man's safe, as well as his black Range Rover with its distinctive “G14 OLD" number plate.
