Pet owners warned after report of boys shooting at cats with air rifle

Cat owners are being urged to be vigilant after reports emerged that pets were being shot at in Coventry.
A local rescue charity said they received a call informing them about a group of boys who were shooting at cats in Hillfields with an air rifle.
Coventry Cats Group rescue cats that are found injured or abandoned and work to find them new homes.
Judith Stanley, one of the charity’s co-ordinators, told the Telegraph she took a call on January 2 from a gentleman who had found a cat on Freehold Street.
