Pep Guardiola demanding high standards from his Manchester City players as he targets improvements ahead of Tottenham clash



Pep Guardiola has warned Manchester City's players to meet his high standards or pay the price – and admitted that he will walk away from the job if he cannot do the same.
Guardiola said his team were so tired after Wednesday's Champions League draw at Celtic that they could not talk, but rejected claims from midfielder Fernandinho that it is difficult for them to maintain the level of intensity he demands.
