Pep Guardiola confirms summer approach for Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen
 

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he sounded out a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen before signing Claudio Bravo.
City signed the Chile international as a replacement for Joe Hart, who was sent out to Torino on a season-long loan.
Guardiola had been linked with moves for Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta but the 45-year-old insists the only players he approached from Barcelona were the two goalkeepers.
