People-smuggler busted as Chinese men are found hiding in van at Hull docks
 

A "shameless" Lithuanian who tried to smuggle two Chinese nationals into the UK through the Port of Hull has been jailed for more than two years.
Arnoldes Jocys, 19, admitted facilitating a breach of UK immigration law when he appeared at Hull Crown Court on the day he was due to stand trial, and was jailed for 27 months.
Jocys had been stopped by Border Force officers on King George Dock on the morning of May 16, having embarked on the overnight ferry from Rotterdam in a Mercedes Sprinter van.
