Pensioner falls on to tracks at Chester station
 

An elderly man had to be rescued after he fell on to train tracks at Chester station last night (October 18).
The dramatic scenes unfolded shortly before 10.30pm, when the pensioner is understood to have fallen between railway carriages.
North West Ambulance Service, which attended along with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service , said the man – who is in his late 70s – was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital .
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said it is not known what the extent of his injuries are.
