Pensioner cut free from car in Harborne crash

A pensioner was cut free from his car following a rush hour collision in Birmingham.
Two cars crashed into each other on Court Oak Road, in Harborne, just after 8.35am on Wednesday.

Crews from Bournbrook and Woodgate Valley used cutting equipment to free the man, who was said to be in his 70s, from the wreckage.
He was suffering from chest pains, sustained cuts to his arms and was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth hospital for further treatment.
