Penrhyn Bay shopkeeper in DIY SOS-style plea after 'nightmare' refurb
 

“Sub-standard” work by a building firm has left a Post Office owner issuing a DIY SOS-style plea for help.
Bev Williams paid a firm for an extension to her Penrhyn Bay general store, which was needed if it was to keep its Post Office franchise.
But after a raft of faults were detected by council building control inspectors, relations between her and the builders broke down.
Mrs Williams says the sub-standard work has cost her £10,000, but builders AW Property Development said that she owes them money.
