Pedestrian, 69, in critical condition after crash in Beeston
 

A pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after a collision with a car near a pub.
The 69-year-old man, who is from York, was walking a dog near the Victoria Hotel, in Dovecote Lane, Beeston, when he was in collision with a dark coloured car at around 7.30pm on Saturday.
He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre and remains in a critical condition.
