Pearsons Bar in Hull 'must make major improvements' to food hygiene



A popular Avenues pub says it will bounce back after being told it needs to make major improvements to its food hygiene.
The Pearsons Bar in Princes Avenue was handed a score of just one out of five after environmental health inspectors visited last month.
But manager Steve Howard explained that a change of chef was to blame for the low score.
He said: "I only took over three months ago and then we brought in a new chef just two days before the environmental officers visited.
