PC Daniel Fleming takes over from the late 'loved and respected' PC Sharon Houfe



A new community cohesion officer has been appointed by Humberside Police following the death of PC Sharon Houfe.
PC Houfe died in April and was known for her efforts in working with the LGBT community in Hull and surrounding areas.
PC Daniel Fleming, of Cleethorpes, well-known in our area as a bagpipe player, has taken on her role and has said he will try to carry forward her legacy. He said: "Sharon was so well loved and so respected in her job that no one would want to or could replace her."
