'Paying respects to my Town supporter grandma, I realised how close stadium would be to crematorium'



WHILST paying my respects to my grandma (a former Grimsby Town Supporter of the Year) last Saturday, it occurred to me how many people have been buried in a relatively short time since her death and the area/space this has taken up.
An ardent supporter since I watched my first game against Watford back in 1972, I have watched football games in the company of grandma as well as close family and friends, a lot who are now buried in the graveyard, we have all shared great moments. I particularly have fond memories of Mick Brolley's goal against Everton.
