Patrick Reed wins 2018 Masters to claim first ever major after Jordan Spieth falls one shot short of Augusta course record with eight-under final round

Patrick Reed won his first ever major title on Sunday as he claimed the Masters green jacket at Augusta National.
The 27-year-old started the final day four shots ahead on 13-under and ended two strokes better off after carding a solid 71.
Jordan Spieth pushed hard and at one point looked set to equal the course record, but he had to settle for third place after a late surge by Rickie Fowler.
More to follow.
