Passenger speaks of 'jolt' and 'emergency braking' as train hits car on track



A passenger on the train which hit a car on the tracks in northern Lincolnshire this morning has spoken of the "jolt" followed by "emergency braking".
The British Transport Police were called to a rail crossing at Barrow Haven, near Barrow, at around 7.15am this morning following reports that a train had struck a car.
Luckily, no one was injured and there was only minor damage to the car.
